The anticipation for the 2024 XR Super Series is reaching its zenith as the series proudly announces the final piece of the puzzle: the Minnesota Mega at Ogilvie Raceway, set to thrill fans on the weekend of May 17-18, 2024. This event marks the last announced date of a six-race schedule that promises extensive promotion and production in its third year of exciting racing action.
XR Events CEO Barry Braun expressed his enthusiasm for the series’ evolution, saying, “The XR Super Series started with a bang, and now we have found our racing groove. Our events have been meticulously refined to maximize available dates on the national schedule and to alleviate the travel burden on teams. Our overarching goal is to deliver maximum impact and efficiency for our company and, of course, our valued customers.”
Nestled in the quaint town of Ogilvie, Minnesota, Ogilvie Raceway boasts a 3/8th mile oval track and has a rich history of hosting massive events since its establishment in 2009. Situated just north of the bustling Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, Ogilvie Raceway offers the ideal facilities to host a national event and series. Super Late Models will return to the track for the first time since 2019, promising heart-pounding action for racing enthusiasts.
“We can’t wait to welcome back the fans and teams,” declared track promoter Nate Fischer. “Our history with XR Events dates back to a time before the track’s opening. Witnessing the exponential growth of XR Super Series on a national scale has been truly remarkable, and we take immense pride in our association as they continue to expand their horizons.”
The 2024 Minnesota Mega will air exclusively on XR+ with a Monthly or Yearly Subscription. Available on Web at www.xrevents.plus, iOS, Android, Roku, FireTV, and Apple TV Apps.
