XR 602 NATIONALS POSTPONED TO MARCH 28-29, 2025

The devastation of Hurricane Helene continues to take its toll on the Southeast region of the United States, where a majority of the competitors entered for the 602 Nationals are located. In advance of the event, over 80 drivers responded to text communication that they would not be able to make the event due to challenges from the hurricane. An estimated 100 entries would not be able to attend overall.

XR Events, promoters of the XR 602 Nationals, have postponed the event until March 28-29, 2025. The devastation to the lives of the area, our drivers, and the community is significant. Postponing the event is appropriate considering the circumstances.

“I had heard from a number of drivers and teams in advance of the event,” stated XR Events CEO Barry Braun. “The feedback had become significant and unimaginable. Running this event is not a priority when a humanitarian crisis has an effect on a majority of our competitors, teams, and families. We wish for the best as they try to recover from this disaster.”

All entries and sales will transfer to the new event days.
